Christmas Part 2

 We continued with out traditional family Christmas up in DC. We got to hang out with Uncle Robert and Aunt Maggie (who thought it was hysterical that she loved sitting in a box munching on a water bottle:) )

We also did our usual family games - this year we did a bunch of new ones, like Headbands, where you have have to guess what word you have on your head by asking yes or no questions.

                                                           Are they not so lovely? :)

                      On Christmas Eve morning Little Miss got a special delivery at her door 

         There were lots of laughs, quality time spent, Christmas songs sang, movies watched and playing by the light of the Christmas tree

                                                Not so ready for Christmas morning ;)

           As predicted this chica got gifts, gifts and more gifts. Some people in this family think she is                                                             pretty great.

               And to finish it all off, a DELICIOUS Christmas prime rib dinner - yummmmm

                        (please note the appropriate salt and pepper shakers - I believe there are two :) )


I apologize for the so so quality of pictures, some of the lighting was dark and Tony has yet to reinstall Photoshop for me so yall just get the raw product. Now if I can get some peace and quiet around here I may just be able to put together the Christmas video I so badly want to make! So stay tuned for part 3............maybe.

Christmas 2013 Part 1

Almost a month late but better than never!

Christmas was great, it was so special having it be Little Miss' first Christmas (even though she had no clue what was going on ;) ) Any time we get to see the families is wonderful. I wish I had posted about it sooner because I am already starting to forget little things! Luckily the 137,478,800 pictures I took helped to jog my memory :)

We had the first part of Christmas at our house a week before actual Christmas since we didnt have the room to haul her presents back and forth from down here to DC.

First up - stockings!

All things were thoroughly tested by licking and chewing on them and deemed to be acceptable :)

Then on to the big gifts!

In true baby fashion she loved the wrapping paper and bows the best but the activity block has turned out to be a big hit and I love that she will (hopefully) play with it for years to come. Most of the other goodies are stored away and I will slowly bring them out as part of her playroom toy rotation.

7 months

Time is really picking up speed and I just know that in the blink of an eye my little baby will be turning a year! But for now she is only 7 months and its time for a monthly update :)

She is a busy busy girl these days; crawling, pulling up and babbling. She has also been making all sorts of crazy faces lately, her favorite is scrunching up her face and she sometimes adds in a snort for good measure :)

She cracks me up <3

Tony did some fancy nerd stuff to the computer so until he gets photoshop back on here I have to wait to make her "official" 7 month picture.
