Halloween

As the years go on and the kids get more and more into Halloween I oblige them and put out the cheesy spooky decorations and listen to Monster Mash 1000x

This year they loved helping to decorate the house, of course the mice on the stairs made a reappearance and a few new things were added like a giant light up motion sensor spider and a new wreath for the front door

Before the big day we also did our usual Halloween/ October activites like going to the pumpkin patch, going on walks to see the leaves and carving our pumpkins

This year we also went to the Country living fair in Atlanta and brought Charlotte along for the trip. We had such a great weekend and ate sooooo much delicious food

October never disappoints :)

Beach trip 2019

This year we did our annual gulf shores trip and stayed in 30A. This was our final beach area to try, we have been to about half a dozen wanting to find the one that we are happy to go back to year after year.

The trip was as always so relaxing a lovely, we are all beach bums at heart and dont plan much expect beach time and good food.

Although 30A was beautiful it was a little upscale for our taste and would be the perfect place to revisit on a girls trip or just with Tony but as a family we had others we liked better.

Pretty much everyday went like this
- wake up, breakfast at the apartment
- beach, lunch on the beach
- back to the apartment to clean up/rest time
- dinner on the beach
- walk around, get ice cream

It was lovely

A few highlights were seeing dolphins off in the distance one morning when we went down to watch the sunrise, doing a dolphin boat and catching crabs on the beach

now for the pictures :)
