This past weekend I finally got around to redoing our office chair that we have upstairs at the computer desk. It was super easy and makes such a difference in the room! Here is a little tutorial on how I did it.
First you have to acquire a really ugly folding chair, like this one.....
This beauty became ours after our super comfy, leather, highback back office chair got shredded to ribbons by a certain someone......
Back to the makeover, so once you have your ugly folding chair, flip it over and unscrew the screws holding the "cushion" to the frame. Next spray paint the whole thing, I did 2 coats giving about 2 hours to fully dry in between coats. I had already chosen my cushion fabric so I got a grey paint to match.
Almost done! Just lay out your fabric, cut to size with a couple inches of extra around the edges. Use a staple gun and staple the fabric to cushion, I folded it under just like I was wrapping a present.
And reassemble!
See? How easy is that! It looks like a brand new chair and cost a whole $2 for the spray paint and $2 for the fabric that I got out of the extras bin at Joanns.
Also the latest belly picture is in :)
We are off to baby shower #2 this weekend in DC with Tony's side of the family, we are so happy to be seeing everyone twice in one month! Its such a treat for us. Next week is my Spring Break so hopefully I will get some more projects done to share and a super clean house!
xoxo
