alabama winter

The best thing about winters in Alabama is that every couple of weeks we get warm temperatures. I remember how endless the winters in Boston felt, it was hard to feel energized and upbeat when its day after day and week after week of grey skies and sub freezing temps. One of the many reasons we have built our nest down in mild Alabama :)

The other day we had one of those warm days so the kids and I went to one of our favorite places, the Nature Preserve.
