loving lately
Some things that I am loving lately......
- getting pumped to hike here in 2 weeks
- making the most out of our hot Fall temps by making this fun twist on classic apple pie
- planning and prepping for our family Halloween costumes
- finally making an appointment for my first tattoo! November 12th whoohoo! Inspiration picture....

- that this nugget refuses to be called "big boy" instead corrects us and says "no Mama's baby"

2017 Eclipse
Here in northern Alabama we got to see the 2017 solar eclipse in 97% totality. Charlotte was interested in it and we read books, watched videos and talked lots about the sun, planets and the moon and rotations. It was a cool experience to share with her, our favorite part was all the crescent shadows once the majority of the sun was covered.
